To save money and remain more price competitive, some hovercraft suppliers fit lawn mower engines that are then modified and uprated - any engine modification may sound great, but immediately invalidates the engine supplier’s warranty. No engine manufacturer wants his engine running on full over-stress mode all day - eventually something will go wrong, hence why they don’t like people mucking about with their engines. Ask the question - has the engine been modified or uprated? Has this invalidated the engine warranty? What happens when the engine fails? (while i am out hovering)
